The new Cavalry Commanders coming soon to Rise of Kingdoms! French military commander Bertrand du Guesclin and a key figure of medieval Rus – Alexander Yaroslavich Nevsky.   Bertrand du Guesclin (Breton: Beltram Gwesklin; c. 1320 – 13 July 1380), nicknamed “The Eagle of Brittany” or “The Black Dog of Brocéliande”, was a Breton knight and an important military commander on the French side during the Hundred Years’ War. From 1370 to his death, he was Constable of France for King Charles V. Well known for his Fabian strategy, he took part in six pitched battles and won the four in which he held command. Alexander Yaroslavich Nevsky (Russian: Александр Ярославич Невский,  Aleksandr Yaroslavich Nevskiy. 13 May 1221 – 14 November 1263) served as Prince of Novgorod (1236–40, 1241–56 and 1258–1259), Grand Prince of Kiev (1236–52) and Grand Prince of Vladimir (1252–63) during some of the most difficult times in Kievan Rus’ history.Commonly regarded as a key figure of medieval Rus’, Alexander was a grandson of Vsevolod the Big Nest and rose to legendary status on account of his military victories over German and Swedish invaders. He preserved Russian statehood and Russian Orthodoxy, agreeing to pay tribute to the powerful Golden Horde. Metropolite Macarius canonized Alexander Nevsky as a saint of the Russian Orthodox Church in 1547.

Commander First Look: Amanitore The latest archer commanders Amanitore and Gilgamesh are joining Rise of Kingdoms! Amanitore was a Nubian queen regnant, or “Kandake” to the Grecians and Romans of that era, in the Kingdom of Kush during the Meroitic Period. Amanitore’s talent trees are archer, garrison, and support. Her main skill is Glorious Arrows, which deals direct damage to the current target with damage factor 1300, and troops led by this commander deal 20% increased damage for the next 3 seconds. You can obtain Amanitore from the Mightiest Governor Event.

Commander First Look: Gilgamesh The latest archer commanders Amanitore and Gilgamesh are joining Rise of Kingdoms! Gilgamesh reigned as the fifth king over the Uruk Kingdom in Mesopotamia during the Anicent Sumerian period. His exploits are recorded in the “Epic of Gilgamesh”, the eponymous accounts of his exploits and the earliest surviving literature to which we enjoy today. Gilgamesh’s talent trees are archer, conquering, and skill. His main skill is “Roar of the Tiger”, which deals direct damage to the current target with damage factor of 1500.
